Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
master-architects-apprentrice:
It can be done. Worship and work intertwined.
Cause it was You who paid the highest price for broken jars of clay. And you still choose to use my life for Your glory displayed.
After a year of pleading and kneeling before the throne of the Chief Designer of the Universe, he finally made His verdict.
An ordinary young man from one of the simplest tribes of his kingdom was chosen to take part in enhancing and utilizing his created environment for his glory. Creativity is one attribute of the Most High that leave his children awestricken. Beautiful is He and wonderful are the things he had done.
This is a great privilege. I was humbled. Speechless. Now, I surrender. Hallelujah to the Most High! I am at your service, Master.

When I understand that everything happening to me is to make me more Christlike, it solves a great deal of anxiety.
You don’t demand submission through words. You earn them through humble ACTS of servant leadership
You interfered and broke my strongest bone just to get my attention.
Plans laid out.
You have seen the detailed desires from the inmost place of this heart.
Working Drawings done.
You know me and You definitely see my persistence and dedication in secret prayer.
Objectives cleared.
No agenda of mine You didn’t know: You see the purpose behind this persistence. You notice the smallest stroke toward the fulfillment of this dream.
Project to be submitted at your table.
And so in all respect and honor, I humbly present and submit this endeavor into Your hands. Do as You wish.
Until I feel your next tap, Master.

Master Architect’s Apprentice (3-16-16)
Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
What I want to do for the rest of my life: Extend boundaries.
“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
God’s will be done
—If Jesus Christ wore a tuxedo (or an elegant Jewish suit of His time) with fancy accessories round His neck and wrist, will He still be insulted or, more so, be persecuted?
Something to refresh my mind with, Here are some thoughts I had from the movie Three Musketeers.
Whenever I watch films like, Troy, Knight’s Tale, 300, and this recent Musketeers or anything that pertains to war, woman and a cause, something in my heart is being awaken. It is that childhood desire of mine to live my own adventure. Partly I wish I’ve been in those days, when men were valiant, courage was defined and honor was valued. Those days when men were sent to protect, fight and die for a kingdom. Those days when men were warriors, protectors and lovers (no one can separate the affectionate side of a man hiding beneath his stiff and rigid posture).
This confused young aspirant asked the musketeers, “I thought you were a little bit more heroic?” The boy, confused as he is, was expecting for valiant warriors not brawlers and drunkards. The veteran answered, “We are obsolete. We were warriors but there’s no war to fight and so we drink, brawl, quarrel with cardinal guards…. What we need is a great cause.” They lost their reason to fight and so they gave up their armor.
Reality check, it’s 1:00 am and I should be preparing and reviewing for my board exam. But my warrior spirit keeps pumping my heart and fueling my mind to say something. I am neither a knight nor a musketeer but I have a King and he gave me a duty to fulfill, to advance His Kingdom.
I sympathize with that young musketeer aspirant. He read books and believed in honor and courage, “all-for -one- and -one -for -all” thing. In all his vigor he pursued the legendary warriors of his time hoping to be strengthened and inspired. But when faced with actual scenarios, he saw brawlers and drunkards instead.
My King didn’t only give me a duty to fulfill; he gave me comrades in the battle field, my co-warriors. I don’t want to excuse myself of this thing but should I ask the same question? Shouldn’t WE be more heroic? Do we need some kind of a cause or a reason to fight for?
Friends, brothers, where are we? We are in constant war with sin and we have a Kingdom to advance. We were chosen (and that should sound more honorable) by the King of Kings and that’s more than career or ball games. It is greater than us and for that, we need to train and stick more intimately with one another in prayer and more so with our King.
I pray that we stand up and stand out in this world. I still believe in integrity, honor, leadership and humility. All for one and one for all! God bless you!
